i completely agree. there is no chance of the frosting being as good as even a mediocre brownie, so the frosting actually detracts from the brownie consumption experience.

Alas, I can't go. And probably wouldn't anyway, since you have to pay to enter. And because I just tried a practice puzzle on their website and sucked it up bigtime. Timed crossword puzzles are not my forte, as it turns out. But I still felt the need to tell you about this exciting event.
you are right. brownies require a small dusting of powdered sugar. but you know what? i would still eat one with frosting.
